![]() ![]() Now if only they had allowed for direct comparison between ARM, Intel and AMD architectures on the same table to tell at a glance how much they differ.Ī spreadsheet of performance versus the price of the CPU/GPU would be a great purchasing tool. In addition, the people working on SETIhome have found that OpenCL applications return incorrect results on Windows computers with older GPUs which have the NVIDIA 340.xx range of drivers (those which have CUDA 6.5), even though it appears to the user that it works properly. Thanks again for that wuprop filter, it's great for CPU and GPU comparisons on real BOINC work units which will help me pick the next computer purchase. Part of the reason I bought a new Nvidia gfx card (also using the latest drivers) was for this. The page for choosing your project has the nVidia logo after each project that is capable so this page is a great link but it doesn't show the CC lower limits. I found a list in the Wiki but the above search has more than the Wiki lists running CUDA units on CC 1.1 (the Wiki needs updating): According to the link you provided, there are 8 others available for pre-Fermi CC 1.1 GPU's: Also this happened only on the BOINC Project SETI and not on any other BOINC Project to include Folding. ![]() 39x is also a good driver and is my backup driver now. Thats really the issue for me as one can't just check every time to see if the card in crunching or not. So far Driver 431.86 is doing well on my 10 Series Cards and on the my RTX Cards. Helping fund the project at Bitcoin CUDA will be first priority. openCL will crash driver and it'll recover but Boinc app (seti in my case) will just sit there waiting forever. ![]() I used - Results GPU: to search for another project for CC 1.1 capable GPU's. ![]()
